What is Brain Based Therapy?

Brain Based Therapy is a revolutionary treatment protocol in which we activate certain areas of the brain to restore people to their optimum state of health.

We perform a neurological examination to determine what lobes of the brain exhibit a decrease in frequency of firing. Typically it starts with the cerebellum which performs sluggishly after prolonged physical or emotional stress and effects either the right or left side. The cerebellum sends nerve information to other parts of the brain in order to complete our thoughts and movements. When the frequency of firing is diminished the nerve information does not arrive to the other lobes on time. Therefore, the brain activity slows down or short circuits!

Why is this important if you have back or neck pain?

If the cerebellum is not functioning properly it causes brain inflammation which travels down the brain stem then down the spinal cord. The cerebellum controls balance, coordination, eye movements and the spinal muscles from the skull to the tailbone. The muscles on the side of a cerebellar dysfunction will be tighter than the other side.

If you have a back or neck problem AND a cerebellar dysfunction, your back problem WILL NOT be resolved without cerebellar activations!

If you have had previous back or neck treatments and your problem still is not resolved…

Your cerebellum could be the culprit!

This topic will be covered in depth at our in-office workshop.
